The Reporter’s Club Nepal (or known simply as Reporter’s Club) is a media forum and organization established by the popular journalist Rishi Dhamala.
The Reporter’s club has an office and a press interaction hall in Putalisadak, Kathmandu. The club organizes frequent media interaction programs where influential Nepali faces, mostly politicians, and members of the press are invited to take part in stimulating face-to-face interaction programs. Over the years, the club has been a popular hub for Nepal’s Kathmandu-based media agencies, mainly to get news and opinions on Nepal’s current affairs.
The Reporter’s Club continued its operation during King Gyanendra’s direct rule when the country’s media suffered tremendously.
A few politicians have come under fire or had to resign because of their controversial statements they gave during an interaction session in the club.
As of 2015, the Reporter’s club has its own Nepali and English news sites.
