Sarbdeep Swan is a London-based personal assistant and spiritual practitioner. He is best known as American new-age spiritualist Teal Swan‘s second husband.
A British citizen of Indian origin, Swan has been featured in the British reality TV show Upstairs Downstairs as a high-profile personal assistant. Swan has worked as a personal and domestic assistant of celebrities and high-profile personalities, such as Madonna, Philip Gould and Ronald Cohen.
Swan was born in 1975 in London, UK.
Relationship with Teal Swan
Sarbdeep Swan and Teal Swan (then Teal Scott) had met in London in the winter of 2013. In a blog post published on 4 December 2013, Teal detailed how the two had met, how she had fallen for him, and that how she thought he was the love of her life. She shared the blog post via her Facebook page, where she wrote: Today’s Blog where I Reveal a Secret About My Love Life. The blog post, titled London’s Little Secret, was later deleted when the relationship between the two ended.
After seeing each other for a little more than a year, Sarbdeep and Teal married on 4 January 2014. The wedding took place at a beach in Santa Barbara, California, USA, and was attended by close friends and family members from both sides.
Just two days from their wedding, on 6 Jan 2014, Teal announced on Facebook that she was going to adopt Sarbdeep’s last name, Swan, as it had had spiritual significance. She wrote:
Our marriage did not ‘unravel’ after 2 weeks due to incompatibility or my ‘emotional unavailability’, but because I saw an email Black Swan had sent to her ex just 2 weeks into our marriage talking about the sex she had with him and flirting with him. An ex she also vilified as a ‘sociopath’, months before on her blog.
In another post, he accused Teal Swan of trying to establish a romantic relationship with a married Hollywood star.
Despite their divorce, Teal Swan continues to keep his last name, i.e. Swan.
As a personal assistant
Before meeting Teal Swan, Sarbdeep Swan worked as a high-profile personal assistant in London. A 2012 article published in the Independent wrote a short feature on Sarbdeep Swan’s career as a personal assistant to influential personalities. In the feature, Swan described his work as follows:
“My clients have included Madonna, Philip Gould and Ronald Cohen. I used to work in politics but fancied a change. I usually arrive at 8 am and do anything from shopping to reframing a piece of art to going running with my employer. A client once ordered me to buy 80 pints of full-fat milk for her to bathe in because she thought it would regenerate her skin – she found it too cold in the end. You have to remember that you are there to do a job. You can be friendly but not overly so. There is a huge responsibility and you have to be very discreet.”
Personal life
Unlike Teal Swan’s third husband, Ale Gicqueau, Sarbdeep has kept a low profile and has refrained from Teal Swan’s criticism in recent years. In 2015, he was reported to have joined the team of Nikki Slade, a UK-based spiritual figure and musician.
